I attended the ACRL 2017 Conference this year, which was from March 22-25. I don’t have any deep, inspiring, or even particularly composed thoughts on it (at the moment), I just want to put together a quick post to mark the event.

In August 2016, I was fortunate to attend and present at the National Diversity in Libraries Conference in Los Angeles. It was a fantastic conference, as well as my first time in LA – so a very exciting trip!

The 2016 ALA Elections started this week, and this year I’m running for Outreach Director of the New Members Roundtable. Exactly two weeks ago, I walked across the stage of the USF Sundome to at long last graduate with my MLIS degree. Congratulations to me! I have officially crossed the threshold from student to librarian!
