I haven’t been keeping this blog particularly active lately, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been doing any writing at all! Since last November, I’ve been writing one post a month for ACRLog, which is the blog of ACRL and is “by and for academic and research librarians.” They put out a call at the beginning of the academic year, looking for librarians in their first year of the profession to blog about their experiences each month as an ACRLog First Year Academic Librarian Experience (FYALE) blogger.
Here are my most recent ACRLog posts:
- Embedding, Flipping, and More at LOEX 2014 (May 19, 2014)
- Musings on Outreach as Instruction (June 18, 2014)
- The Varied Life of an Academic Librarian (July 20, 2014)
My last post on ACRLog will be up in about two weeks, if I manage to stay on schedule. It will probably be a year-in-review type of thing, but you never know, a few times I’ve completely re-written them at the last minute when I get another idea. Hopefully after that I’ll be able to maintain a regular writing schedule here on my own blog!
